With the Peter Blegvad Trio at the Rock in Opposition festival, April 2007 in Carmaux France. L-R: John Greaves on bass, Chris Cutler drumming, Peter Blegvad and me. I ended up doing this gig at the last minute because the trio were rehearsing at my place, which is just about two hours drive from the festival. They do a song called "Bee Dream" which on the album has a lot of noisy feedback guitars at the end. While rehearsing the tune they asked me if I'd do the feedback, which of course I was thrilled to do! So we ran through the tune and it sounded great, after which they said "well since you're here, why not play a little something on this other tune too..." So I did. Then hey why not a little something on this tune as well...oh and what about this one...until I ended up playing and singing on half of the set! This all happened the day before the show, so I had barely enough time to work out a few sparse yet hopefully tasty little bits. The chemistry was great though, it was a blast and hopefully we'll do it again before we're all dead and buried!

In this photo I'm playing my Epiphone Emperor II guitar, which my friend Mike Johnson had recently given to me. He'd bought a few years earlier and didn't really like it!
