This is at the Packing House Studio, 1982 or early 83 during the recording of the first Thinking Plague album. I'm getting ready to record my percussion track for "The Taste That Lingers On". The black box just in front of the bassdrum is a spring reverb unit which I hit occasionally during the song to get that "sproing" sound. It barely worked, it's just audible on the album!
