I moved to Denver Colorado in October 1978, and this photo was taken in late December of that same year at Jae Ram Loft in Denver. It's just after a Ganglion Orchestar performance, I'm listening back to the cassette of the show. The Ganglions were: me on guitars and bass, Mike Johnson on guitars, Lin Esser on keyboards and acoustic bass, and David Drake (one of my younger brothers) on drums. It was an improvising group so anyone in the band might also play any available instrument and often did. In this photo my Rickenbacker 4001, purchased in 1974, still has its original red finish which I removed in the early 80's. Photo by Lin Esser.
