This was during the first of two 5UUs tours, about which I don't really remember a lot except that conditions were pretty tough; I won't even try to go into it here, it's a topic for a whole seperate page one day! Suffice to say we'd come home completely broke and exhausted with the rent overdue. Having no masochistic tendencies, those two tours put me off touring for nearly a decade: didn't tour with any bands between November 1999 and June 2007. Anyway I bet we probably played some pretty good shows!
