My idea having been approved, the next step involves deciding which piece of paper to use for the sketch. Here
you see some of my assistants sorting through the countless pieces of paper which are continually donated by crowds of people and passersby (seen here in the background) in order to find one which
most closely matches the strict parameters set out by the Tribunal, as well as my own shockingly demanding standards. |
To an artist of my unmentionable caliber, choosing the right pencil is no laughing matter. After the right
piece of paper has been found, a factory is contracted to build the appropriate pencil, according to the guidelines set out by myself and the Tribunal. It is not unusual for me to reject hundreds or
even thousand of otherwise perfectly good drawing implements for the most triflingly insignificant reason or whim before I find one I deem suitable for the great work. |
Unfortunately, the weight of my artistic vision suddenly overwhelms me and I fall into a morbid lethargy,
collapsing in a sonambulistic stupor which may last for days, thus unexpectedly bringing to a premature close this revealing tutorial.
